September 2026
We're expanding intake capacity for families this fall. Thanks to our community partners, several additional beds are opening at the Compton facility, and intake appointments are now available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. August 2026
Rev. Terrel Monroe, our Employment & Training Officer, launched a six-week workshop series covering resumes, interview skills, workplace communication, and financial basics. The series is open to all current residents, and local employers have begun participating in mock interview sessions.
July 2026
Our summer supply drive collected more than 400 clothing, hygiene, and household items, all distributed directly to residents and families in the program. A special thank-you to the congregations and neighborhood groups who hosted drop-off points across Bellflower and Compton.
May 2026
Volunteer crews spent two weekends repainting common areas and refreshing the kitchen at our Santa Fe Ave facility. Residents now enjoy brighter shared spaces — small improvements that make a real difference in daily life.

We've expanded our on-site AA & CA meetings to four evenings per week. Meetings are open to residents and community members alike — no sign-up needed, just come as you are.
