About Us

At The Fountain Transitional Living is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation governed by spiritual leaders experienced in bringing help to victims of life's hardest turns.

We are a faith-based organization ministering to the whole person — spirit, soul, and body — enabling participants to discover happiness of mind, healthiness of body, and holiness of spirit. We believe in expressing Christian care and Agape love, one to another (John 13:34-35).

Our facilities are fully equipped to meet the needs of everyone seeking to regain their rightful place in society. We provide shelter, life skills, drug and alcohol counseling, AA & CA meetings, vocational training, and spiritual guidance for individuals and families who have lost their way.

Through community partnership, we provide services to our clients — a limitless process requiring ongoing openness, diligence, and hard work. We promote honesty, empathy, and love for each of our clients, and we strongly believe in family and community involvement.

Our story

2013 — Founded in faith

Incorporated in California (Corp. C3520175) and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity in April 2013, At The Fountain opened its doors to men and women who had nowhere else to turn.

2014 — Compton facility opens

We established our 20,921 sq ft residential facility on Santa Fe Ave in Compton — shared housing, counseling offices, and meeting space under one roof.

Today — Three counties strong

We now serve residents from Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties, recognized in the Homeless Shelter Directory and the California Department of Housing & Community Development resource network.

What we believe

✚

Change is possible

No matter your background, your former life, or your name — change is possible. It is never too late to set goals and accomplish them.

♥

Whole-person care

We minister to spirit, soul, and body — because a bed alone doesn't rebuild a life, but love plus structure does.

⚒

Work restores dignity

Job skills, life skills, and vocational counseling give our clients the tools to come out of darkness into the marvelous light.

Our promise: We express patience, understanding, and forgiveness — and we offer assistance to everyone, no matter what life has dealt them.

Hope to the hopeless, faith to the faithless, joy to the families.

That has been our mission since day one — and it only happens with people like you.
